Our Mission

Our Mission

What We Do

At the United States National Reserve Corps (USNRC), our mission is to provide critical support and augmentation to Federal and State Emergency Management Agencies (EMAs) during times of need. We actively participate in mission exercises with both military forces and state emergency management offices, following National Incident Management System (NIMS) guidelines to ensure a coordinated response.

Our members undergo monthly training and drills, authorized by the Military Assistance to Civil Authority (MACA), to stay prepared for any crisis. We conduct missions that directly enhance the quality of life in the communities we serve, while also training local civilian personnel in disaster preparedness programs. Additionally, we support the mobilization and deployment of military personnel and are ready to deploy alongside them within the continental United States when called upon.

Our commitment extends to veteran advocacy and community involvement, where we actively participate in patriotic events. We are also honored to provide final military honors for deceased veterans, ensuring their service and sacrifice are respectfully recognized.

Our Values

The USNRC is built on a foundation of service, patriotism, and a commitment to protecting and enhancing our communities. As an all-volunteer reserve military association, we operate with a military structure and an honorary system of command that emphasizes respect, discipline, and responsibility.

Over 70% of our members have prior military experience, bringing invaluable expertise and dedication to the organization. We value the strength of teamwork, the importance of rigorous training, and the responsibility to serve our nation in any capacity needed. Our guiding principles include supporting veterans, promoting preparedness, and ensuring that we are always ready to respond to emergencies with the highest level of professionalism and care.
