At the USNRC, we are committed to rigorous and collaborative training to ensure that we are ready to assist when our country needs us most. We work hand-in-hand with fire departments, the American Red Cross, and City, County, and State Emergency Management Offices to create a unified response to crises. As dedicated patriotic volunteers, our mission is to stand as a vital support system to first responders nationwide, providing backup and relief during emergencies and disasters.

Our preparedness efforts go beyond individual readiness. We actively participate in mission exercises with both military forces and state emergency agencies, following the National Incident Management System (NIMS) guidelines. These joint exercises help ensure that we can seamlessly integrate with other emergency services, contributing to efficient and coordinated disaster responses.

Each month, we engage in regular training and drills authorized by the Military Assistance to Civil Authority (MACA) under the strict supervision of education and training guidelines. This disciplined schedule ensures that every member of the USNRC is fully equipped with the skills, knowledge, and experience to respond effectively in real-world situations.

Our efforts are not just reactive; they are proactive. We conduct missions that directly enhance the quality of life in our communities, from disaster preparedness training to hands-on community service. We focus on educating and training local civilian personnel, empowering them with the tools they need to protect themselves and their families in times of crisis.

In addition, we provide critical support to the mobilization and deployment of military personnel. If called upon, we stand ready to deploy alongside our military forces to areas of operation within the continental United States, ensuring that our service extends wherever and whenever it is needed.

As a Veteran Service Organization, we proudly advocate for veteran causes and take an active role in supporting our nation’s veterans through various programs and services. We are honored to provide final military honors for deceased veterans, ensuring their service and sacrifice are properly recognized.
